WHERE ARE YOU REALLY FROM?

ALISHA, the only daughter to first generation Pakistani/Indian immigrants, travels back home to a run down corner shop in the Northwest of England to see her father after being estranged for over 30 years. Here she finds LUMSY, a British working class product of cultural diversity, ALISHA’S childhood friend and first love. With the help of some Bollywood magic, they retrace their steps down the cobbled alley of youth where they find memory to be an unreliable narrator.
